Australian all-rounder Charli Knott has agreed a deal to become The Blaze’s second overseas signing for 2026.

Knott, 23, has agreed a deal to play the full Vitality Blast campaign between May and July, as well as three One Day Cup matches in June.

Knott turned out for Hampshire in 2025, as well as their previous identity of Southern Vipers in 2024, racking up 1,095 runs and claiming 42 wickets in 35 combined appearances.

While in the latter’s colours in the Charlotte Edwards Cup in May 2024, she ripped through the Western Storm line-up at Utilita Bowl, claiming 4/23 for a Twenty20 career-best return.

“I can’t wait to get back over to England and represent The Blaze,” said Knott. “Playing in England before has been great fun and a real learning experience for me.

“I know how good a squad The Blaze have from playing against them in the past, and I’m really excited to contribute as we aim for success in 2026.”

Born in Queensland, Knott has represented her native state in Australian List A cricket since debuting aged just 15 in 2018, and in 2021 helped the side to the National Cricket League title.

The Blaze Head Coach, Craig Cumming, added: “We’re really pleased to add Charli to our squad, and we really believe in her qualities with bat and ball.

“Charli has a lot of experience across formats, and she’s put up some very impressive numbers so far, so we can’t wait to welcome her.”
