Charley Phillips says she was delighted to see her winter’s work come to fruition with a first career five-wicket haul against Durham.

The seamer returned figures of 5/49 from ten overs, including a spell of four wickets without conceding a run in nine balls, saying that capitalising on a strong position was key.

She shared an insight into working with Assistant Coach Luke Fletcher during the off-season, and spoke of the team’s mood at the halfway point of the contest after setting 240-8.
